First Responder Friday has grown into one of the most anticipated experiences of the entire Fair weekend. The energy is high, the engagement is real, and kids get unmatched access to the first responders who serve our communities every day.

Kids can meet teams from a range of agencies, jump into games and prize activities, and get an up-close look at firetrucks, police cars, ambulances, and other emergency vehicles. Some years even bring in helicopters or the crash-test safety trailer, creating a standout, immersive learning environment.

Last year’s partnership with our local hospital added a full Bicycle Rodeo. The first 50 kids received free helmets, riders had their bikes professionally fitted, and families received clear, actionable bicycle safety instruction.
