2026 Carbon County Fair | June 4th - 6th
The Carbon County Fair you know today didn’t just return—it was rebuilt from the ground up.
When the original County Fair ended in 2019, this beloved tradition could have disappeared. Instead, in 2022, a new committee stepped in with a blank slate, a bold vision, and the belief that Carbon County deserved a flagship community event. No blueprint, no playbook—just determination to create a modern Fair that celebrates our community.
In just a few years, the Fair has grown beyond expectations. Attendance is climbing, participation is surging, and excitement is building every year. Our goal is simple: deliver experiences that honor local heritage while introducing new traditions, and keep as much as possible free or low-cost so every family can join the fun.
The Fair is packed with a mix of beloved attractions and new surprises—from livestock and crafts to aviation thrills and hands-on exhibits, there’s something for everyone:
Black Diamond Rodeo: PRCA-sanctioned, thrilling professional rodeo action for fans of all ages.
Coal Shoveling Contest & Battle of the Bands: Community favorites that keep our traditions alive.
Open Class & 4H Exhibits: Showcasing local talent, creativity, and agriculture.
Kids’ Activities & Fun Zones: First Responder Friday, games, and interactive learning for little ones.
Competitions & Tournaments: Cornhole, Burnout Competition, fishing, motocross, 5k and more.
Driven by a Cause Auto Show: Supporting meaningful local causes while celebrating automotive culture.
And much, much more!
The Fair is continuously evolving. Future plans include:
Larger concerts and talent showcases
A carnival midway
Expanded use of CERCUT venues
Longer event duration to offer more experiences
Every decision we make is guided by one principle: create experiences people look forward to all year long.
The Carbon County Fair exists to serve our community, celebrate local identity, and provide a gathering place people are proud to call their own. Every year brings new milestones, but the best chapters are still ahead.
