At the 2026 Carbon County Fair Animal Barn, excellence earns hardware. Exhibitors have a shot at three prestigious buckles: the Commissioner’s Choice, hand-selected by the Carbon County Commissioners; the Black Diamond Award, chosen by the newly crowned Black Diamond Rodeo Royalty; and the People’s Choice Award, decided by public vote. This is recognition that goes beyond ribbons. It’s visibility, credibility, and a statement piece you take home. Bring your best animal, step into the spotlight, and compete for a buckle that proves you stood out when it mattered.

Is there a cost to enter animals or visit the barn?
No! Entering animals in the Animal Barn is completely free, and visiting the barn and enjoying all the activities is also free for everyone.

Visitors are welcome to feed animals with provided grain during designated times. Please follow all posted safety guidelines and listen to barn staff for instructions.

Safety is our top priority for both visitors and animals, alike! Please supervise children at all times, wash hands after touching animals, and respect all signage and staff directions.

EVERYONE! From kids to adults, all are welcome. Whether you're a first-time exhibitor, or a seasoned pro, all ages and experience levels are encouraged to participate.

Animal check-in is scheduled for the morning of Thursday, June 04, 2026, between 12:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Please arrive during this window to ensure smooth processing.

Animal check-out will take place on Sunday, June 7th, from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Please make arrangements to pick up your animals during this time.
